Boat Launch & Boat Wash

Please contact the Municipality of Gore for access to the Boat Launch. You must have a Gore Permit to launch any boat, motor or non-motorized on the Lake.
Access Permits (Sticker to be displayed on Boat)
All boats launched must carry a sticker.
All boats must be washed before launching at the municipal launch in a wash station recognized by the Municipality. The Municipality offers this service at the municipal park. The cost of cleaning is included in the sticker fee.
It is forbidden:
- To use the municipal launch for anything but launching your boat.
- To launch a boat without a sticker and without being washed prior to launch.
- To park a vehicle and/or trailer on the road;
- To bring live bait in a container with water from a lake other than Lake Barron. Containers will be checked and may be banned and confiscated.
- To drain water from engine cooling system or ballast system into Lake Barron.
All boats launched must carry a sticker.
- Stickers can be obtained from the municipal office by completing the form and providing the required documents.
- The sticker must be affixed on the starboard side and be visible at all times.
- A maximum of 2 stickers can be obtained per civic address for motorized boats.

Motorboats of 10 hp or less - $20
Motorboats over 10 hp and under 75 hp - $40
Motorboats 75hp and over - $60
Day pass (Gore residents)
Non-motorized watercraft (e.g. canoes, kayaks, SUP, rowboats, sailboats) - $20
Motorboats of 10 hp or less - $20
Motorboats over 10hp and under 75hp - $60
Boats 75hp and over Wake boats and personal watercraft - Prohibited
