In collaboration with its partners, the RSVL pursues the following four objectives:
- Acquire data to establish the trophic level of a large number of lakes and monitor their evolution over time;
- Identify lakes showing signs of eutrophication and degradation;
- Educate, raise awareness, support and inform riverside associations and other participants;
- Draw up a general picture of the situation of resort lakes in Quebec.
Promote sustainable development and protect the environment
|
Our association works in concert with the Conseil régional de l’environnement des Laurentides. The CRE Laurentides’ mission is to promote sustainable development, protect and enhance the environment, and promote the improvement of the democratic process.
It prioritizes, as a strategy, the awareness of local and regional decision-makers to the need to give the same importance to the environment as to the economy and social issues in their decision-making process.
